Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not intended for children under 13.

2. The Service

TreLivelli helps you learn Italian through graded news articles, vocabulary tools, and related learning features. Some content and features require a paid subscription. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Accounts

The app may create an account for you using anonymous authentication. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Premium features are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

We may offer monthly, three-month, and annual plans. Some plans may include a free trial (for example, a 7-day trial on the monthly plan). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the applicable subscription price.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We do not control Apple's billing or refund decisions. Subscription status may be processed through RevenueCat on our behalf.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or content at scale;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Upload malware or harmful code.

6. Content

Articles and learning materials are provided for educational and informational purposes. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party news content. Your use of content is at your own risk.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by Zext SRL or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning purposes.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR LEARNING OUTCOME.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZEXT SRL AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) EUR 50, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in the app Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated in the app or by other reasonable means.
